The goal of the RFP is to identify a firm or firms that can provide best practices and up-to-date training tailored towards the travel industry broadly, and potentially specified for various industry verticals (such as hotel, transportation, retail, attractions), on how to best welcome Chinese and Indian visitors.  You may bid on one or both of the projects. The criteria and deliverables are the same for each target market.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify a world-class digital development agency to maintain and continue to develop Brand USA’s 15 consumer websites at VisitTheUSA.com. The goal is to continually improve our websites in creating engaging, localized in-language websites that will stimulate international consumer desire to travel to the United States of America.

The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to identify the appropriate firm to provide Brand USA with a range of procurement risk, and compliance consulting services. This firm will ideally possess experience in reviewing media and advertising-related invoices.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify the appropriate vendor to develop and maintain Brand USA’s B2B WeChat in China. Our objective is to develop a WeChat platform, which is simple for our travel trade partners (tour operators, travel agents, receptive tour operators, wholesalers, etc.) to use to receive information and communicate with the community manager, navigate, and search. The goal is to better inform our travel trade partners so they can better sell travel to the United States to potential Chinese visitors.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify the appropriate vendor to maintain and continue to develop Brand USA’s corporate website at TheBrandUSA.com and our industry education sites at USADiscoveryProgram.com.   Our objective is for continuous improvement in creating visually impactful and informative websites, which are simple for our constituents to navigate, search, and utilize.

Brand USA is seeking a host city for the 2019 U.S. – China Tourism Leadership Summit. The summit host will coordinate regional vendors including transportation, accommodations, meeting facilities, catering, entertainment, and receptions. The goal is to identify a host city that will be able to manage, organize, and fund the influx of 150 – 220 estimated participants from the United States and China. The host will coordinate with Brand USA to create a welcoming experience and productive meeting for summit participants. *The winner of this RFP will be announced at the 2018 China –​ U.S. Tourism Leadership Summit in Hangzhou, China, on September 10.*

The purpose of this RFP is to obtain global translation and acculturation services. The selected firm will be responsible for translation of content and marketing utilized across digital, social, connected television, print and broadcast platforms. Brand USA seeks a translation agency that specializes in adapting content and marketing from English to another language, while keeping tone and context intact. Experiential and engaging content that inspires travel is essential to our consumer messaging strategy in each market. Current needs include translation to Portuguese (Brazil); German (Germany); Spanish (Mexico) (Chile) (Colombia); French (France and Canada); Korean (South Korea); Japanese (Japan); and Chinese (Mandarin) (Cantonese). Other languages may be added as needed

The purpose of this RFP is to identify an industry accepted third party with experience valuing licensed content. Brand USA’s founding legislation, the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 (the “Act”), makes in-kind contributions (of goods and services) from non-federal sources eligible for match at their fair market value. The fair market value of such content is not necessarily what Brand USA would pay for the content, but is the amount that a willing buyer would pay a willing seller with neither forced to act. The winning bidder’s valuation reports may be used in support of Brand USA requests, which are transmitted to the U.S. Department of Commerce, for these matching funds.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify the appropriate integrated travel marketing and public relations firm (Representation Firm) to represent Brand USA’s interests in Japan. The selected Representation Firm will be considered Brand USA’s in-market expert, with the purpose of helping to build and maintain top-of-mind awareness of the USA as a premier travel destination to increase international visitation, spend, and market share for the United States. As an extension of the Brand USA team in market, the Representation Firm will ensure all inmarket activity represents Brand USA in ways that support the organization’s strategies and mission, while protecting and preserving our integrity and brand.
