Brand USA and CBP's Innovative Initiative Drives Global Entry Enrollment in Japan and South Korea
Our recent collaboration with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to bring Global Entry Mobile Enrollment interviews to Japan and South Korea during our 2024 sales missions was a huge success. This initiative facilitated nearly 800 Global Entry mobile enrollment interviews, helping to enhance the travel experience for international visitors.
The Global Entry program, CBP's premier Trusted Traveler Program, provides expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. By enabling travelers to complete their Global Entry enrollment in Japan and South Korea, Brand USA and CBP have significantly simplified the process, offering international visitors a more seamless and enjoyable experience.
The sales missions to Japan and South Korea provided a unique opportunity for CBP officers to conduct in-person interviews with travelers who had completed the online Global Entry application process. This allowed leisure, business, and student travelers to finalize their enrollment without needing to travel to the United States for an interview, offering a level of convenience that underscores the program's growing appeal.
We are exploring additional opportunities with our federal partners to bring Global Entry enrollment to more international markets. This forward-thinking approach benefits travelers and reinforces the United States' commitment to welcoming international visitors with open arms and streamlined processes.
